Located on the southern tip of the Monongahela National Forest, the proposed Big Draft wilderness is just five miles north of White Sulphur Springs. It is home to numerous rare species of plants and animals. The proposed Big Draft wilderness has outstanding recreational opportunities with over 13 miles of established system hiking trails and a class III whitewater run. The trout, small-mouth and rock bass fishing along this route are excellent as well.
