Additional
wilderness on West Virginia's federal, public lands won't become a
reality unless all those who care about our wild, unprotected places
speak up and get involved. Listed below are a few things you can
do:
1. Contact you Senators and Representatives (especially if you are a West Virginia resident) and tell them you want more wilderness on West Virginia's federal, public lands. If you have a West Virginia address, click here to send a fax to your Senators and Representative in support of Wilderness OR Senator Robert C. Byrd Senator Jay Rockefeller Rep. Alan Mollohan Rep.
Shelley Moore-Capito Rep.
Nick Rahall Governor Joe Manchin Forest Supervisor Clyde Thompson *Click here for important points to include in your letter* 5. Fill out our endorsement/contact
form to get more information or to sign up to volunteer. 3. Get out and experience West Virginia's outstanding unprotected wild lands. The West Virginia Highlands Conservancy will be hosting some of their outings through the Mountain Odyssey Program to potential Wilderness areas.
