Health Care Professionals for
Wilderness
Clean air and water, enhancing recreational opportunities,
and protecting areas to experience solitude and escape the pressures
of daily life. The more than 100 health care professionals to sign
on in support of the WV Wilderness Coalition's efforts cite these

Faith Community
Spirituality and faith go hand in hand with West Virginia's
natural heritage. By protecting special wild areas, we forever
preserve a majestic outdoor sanctuary, one in which we can reflect.
Through God's Gift of a Wild and Wonderful Land, a Christian
Declaration of Spiritual Values on the Monongahela National Forest,
many congregations and faith-based organizations have supported
efforts to protect wild areas in perpetuity.
